Tecniplast USA is Hiring a Human Resources Generalist Near West Chester, PA

To support our growth, we are searching for a Human Resources Generalist based at our West Chester, PA location.

In this key position you will be responsible for the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including assisting with recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding candidates, administering pay, benefits, leave, creating/update platform for performance evaluations and enforcing company policies and practices.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborating with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Conducting/acquiring background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Implementing new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Administering and executing human resources programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handling employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attending and participating in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviewing policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Working with the President to develop compensation plan that aligns with position descriptions.
  • Maintaining HRIS, assisting with Payroll and 401K.
  • Working with departmental managers to develop an employee training, retention and career growth path program.
  • Partnering with department managers and administer year-end employee evaluations.
  • Reviewing, tracking, and documenting compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least three years of human resources management experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP a plus.
  • Commitment to ongoing education, HR classes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, conflict resolution, organizational, time management and analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality and thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.

We offer an exceptional working environment, competitive compensation of $55,000 to $65,000/year based on experience and a comprehensive range of benefits. Qualified applicants should apply via the apply button.
